The lodge is where the front desk, store, restaurant are located. The cottages are up the hill and where the rooms are located.

Cell service is limited in the entire Big Sur area. Wi-Fi is located at the Big Sur Library.

Located within the State Park, at Big Sur Lodge, is The Homestead Restaurant and Espresso House. The Homestead restaurant provides delicious dishes while the Espresso House is available for quick grab-and-go snacks, specialty coffees and teas, hand-dipped ice cream, deli sandwiches, and other tasty snacks.
Between the Gift Shop and the General Store there is an endless selection of unique souvenirs, keepsakes, apparel, grocery items, sundries, and camping supplies available.

In the Big Sur Lodge up to two dogs are accepted, for a fee, in the pet-friendly rooms. See the more in-depth pet policy here.
The only trails dogs are allowed on are the Warden’s Path and the River path. They are also allowed in the day-use lots and campgrounds.
